A new bill got introduced into congress named H.R. 293 which is described as the Youth Vaping Prevention Act of 2019.
The changes proposed would ban cigar sales online shipped to consumers. It would also ban the sale of e-cigarettes and vape liquids across state lines. They are also trying to flavors in any tobacco products. They mention that tobacco products could not have an additive or any artificial or natural flavors other than tobacco, herbs or spices. The only exception is for a “electronic delivery stem” which has been approved as a tobacco cessation device.
We hope that this bill will be shut down and won’t gain traction as it is completely anti-vaping biased. The restrictions on flavors are a bigger hit to vaping than any other form of tobacco product.
